Developing a love of wildlife, Jonathan Truss began his life as a musician and actor whilst oil painting in his spare time, he slowly but surely developed an interest in animals and their preservation, viewing them as a subject in many of his works. Dedicated firmly to his art and to the animals he holds so dearly, Truss became a full time painter and traveled to multiple countries to study and paint the wildlife as much as possible.
With incredible skill and a highly developed mind's eye, Truss paints exceptionally realistic paintings of animals and their environments, going so far to paint individual tufts of fur and the most miniscule of reflections, Truss truly brings his paintings to life with his amazingly
