Reuben Colley - unbeatable prices
Recognised as a prodigy during secondary school, Reuben Colley is one of the only individuals to have obtained a 100% in an Art GCSE. Going on to gain an A Grade in A Level Art he then went on to Bournville Art College to study for a BTEC National Diploma in Art & Design, specialising in Fine Art. Colley also took on a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Fine Art at the University of Wolverhampton and graduated in 1998 with a 2-1.
Upon graduating Colley went on to become a professional fine artist and joined Washington Green in 2000, he was awarded the Up and Coming Published Award by the Fine Art Trade Guide in 2001 and in November in the same year successfully exhibited in the Halcyon Gallery. Since then, Colley's works have been distributed widely all over the
country.
Colley's works are a tribute to the sky and it's effect on light on the tranquil scenes that are so often the focus of Colley's pieces. Giving a strong form with solid colours and being light on shadows, Colley's works are dreamlike and nostalgic, bringing the user's focus on the deep colour variations in the images.
