Pam Carter - unbeatable prices
Pam Carter was born in the town of Tanganika in East Africa to a Scottish father and an Austrian Mother, they moved back to Scotland
when she was thirteen and she went on to take on the subject of Art at the Glasgow School of Art.
Upon graduation Carter followed her education with a career in education and set out to teach in Braidfield High School for several years before going to study Art for longer in Chicago and then following that shortly with more teaching in Seychelles, spending two years in the island nation before going on to teach in a variety of colleges for around
twenty years. In August 2004, Carter made the choice to stop teaching and focus full-time on her paintings, becoming a professional artist.
Today Carter's artwork has won many prestigious awards and has been collected by both private collectors and corporations alike. Alongside her wide array of individual exhibitions in both the UK and the USA, Carter has also taken part in various group shows including the the Paisley Art Institute, Visual Arts Scotland, the Royal Glasgow Institute and Royal Scottish Society. The former three contributing to her awards.
