Fabian Perez - unbeatable prices
Born in 1967 in Argentina, Fabian Perez grew up the youngest of four siblings just outside
Buenos Aires during the post Peron military regime era. Even at a young age he had a
creative side, painting portraits of his friends and family from just nine years old.
His inspiration came from his father's unorthodox lifestyle as a nightclub and brothel owner in Campana, often being shut down and on the run from the police force.
Reguardless, Perez painted him in a positive light in his paintings as 'the cool guy'
alongside the multitude of women his father employed.
Following his mother's and father's deaths at 16 and 19 respectively, Perez began a journey of self-truth and answer seeking. During this time he met Sensei Oscar, whom became his master, teacher, close friend and father figure and through martial arts and painting was able to help Perez find a degree of inner peace within him.
Perez then began travelling again in 1987, staying for six months in Rio de Jeneiro,
Brazil, then moving to Padova, Italy with Oscar for seven years before moving to Okinawa, Japan. Perez then decided to try experiencing a different side of life and moved to Los Angeles in the United States where he worked as a busboy and model while running odd jobs for Universal Studios. With full days of work he painted during the night and pushed his skills even further.
At an exhibition in 2001, two art publishers decided to publish Perez's works as a result
he became a full time fine artist with the demand for his work skyrocketing. His work is
published nowadays by DeMontford Fine Art in the United Kingdom. Following his tours through America, Australia and Europe which sold out entirely, Perez has been acknowledged in Argentina, being given a very rare government funded public exhibition. Perez now lives and paints in California in the United States, still travelling the world occassionally for inspiration.
