Peter Smith - unbeatable prices
The Artist Peter Smith is well known countrywide for his now famous ‘Impoosmals’ and ‘Zeppo’s’ characters in his artworks, which are mainly created using oil pastels.
Peter Smith was born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire in 1967, some of his early work choices included careers in architecture and as a designer and illustrator for the fashion industry, working with companies such as Universal, Fox, Disney and the BBC. It was this career that played the most significant role in his artistic development.
In 2005, Peter Smith, after years of self publishing his work, finally approached Washington Green with his works, with in a deal was signed and he left his job to concentrate solely on his art, with his first collection ‘the Art of Surprise’. After that with the increase of his popularity, his first national tour titled ‘Tails of the Unexpected‘ was released in 2006. Following a third tour in 2007, Peter was announced as the ‘Best up and Coming UK Artist’ in Fine Art Trade Guild Awards.
