Richard Rowan - unbeatable prices
Richard Rowan is known for his contemporary sunset scenes.
As a child Richard would paint given any opportunity, normally using poster paints on his dad’s just finished architectural drawings. Whilst his family were doing their own thing he would sit there colouring in all the rooms, often making his dad very angry and upset, but now his dad is his biggest fan.
Initially from a design and fine art background, Richard won the 1992 Daily Mail’s Artist of the Year award. After finishing his art training, he found it very hard to establish himself as an artist. So eventually ended up working in the motorsport industry, ranging from formula one to world rally, travelling the world in the process.
Now as a published artist, Richard prefers to paint his originals onto glass using oil rather than painting onto a board or canvas.
