Darren Baker - unbeatable prices
Darren Baker is most well known for his amazing photo-realistic female form paintings, but more recently his outstanding black and white cityscapes.
Darren Baker was Born in the mid 1970’s, and studied art at Bradford Art College, after graduating he had his first major exhibition in London. In 1999 Darren Baker was sent an invitation to show his paintings in New York at a UK Millennium event. In the same year Darren was chosen to be appointed as the PFA (Professional Footballers Association) official artist. Since then Darren Baker has been appointed as the 2012 Olympics’ official artist.
Over the years Darren has won numerous awards for his paintings including the ‘Best Artist’ award at the Fine Art Trade Guild ceremony in London.
Darren Baker has produced amazing portraits for sports clubs all over the country as well as other personalities including Lewis Hamilton, Prince Naseem and Nigel Mansell.
Some of his other portraits include HRH The Prince of Wales and former Prime Minister Tony Blair, these can be found hanging in St James’ Palace and Downing Street respectively.
In 2008, Darren Baker was chosen to commission a portrait of Her Majesty the Queen to commemorate her 85th Birthday, a commission very few artists have achieved.
