Mandy Long - unbeatable prices

Mandy Long is best known as a sculptor.
Mandy Long was born in Devon, the youngest of 4 siblings. Her father was a head teacher at a local primary school and her mum was from the generation of stay at home mums, drawing and painting for pleasure and able to make pretty much anything on demand.
Mandy’s love of making things using her hands comes from her mum, Mandy’s first experience of clay was when she was at primary school, mesmerized by how the clay can go from being soft and workable into a hard ceramic piece that can last for years. After leaving school Mandy never really came into contact with this medium again until she started evening classes.
After leaving school, Mandy went to Edinburgh University to study French, because she never really knew anything about being able to make a living from sculpting. After graduating from University, Mandy went on a number of careers from retail to a social worker, before going back to college and university to re-train as a primary school teacher.
Mandy moved to Leeds in 200, as it was then that Mandy enrolled in a course at Harrogate college in 3 Dimensional Design, her specialist subject being ceramics
