Philip Raskin - unbeatable prices
Born in 1947, Philip Raskin studied at the Glasgow School of Art and upon graduating, went into the business world and became the owner of The Inn on the Green, a popular jazz restaraunt in Glasgow that he ran with his wife. Despite his busy business, Raskin kept his interest in art and often set up the restaraunt as a gallery with exhibitions and
private viewing.
After running the restaraunt successfully for twenty years, Raskin decided once again to brush off his brushes and ease into his easel and once again paint to his heart's content. His works have rapidly gained a strong reputation and are distributed all across the country.
Using a colourized theme for his works, Raskin disperses a mood across a scene using gradually-toned hues of the same base colour.
These often compliment another appropriate colour and it's hues and more often than not, make for a calming, serene scene.
