Ge Feng - unbeatable prices

The Artist Ge Feng, is best known for his graffiti style of works.
Ge Feng was born in 1967, in Taiyuan, Northern China, his Name Ge means “Revolution”.
Always loving to draw as a child, but became more interested in photography, but not having a darkroom, managed to develop his photos under his bed. In 1983, Ge started at the Xiamen College of Arts and Crafts in Southern China, studying traditional Chinese painting, learning the balance of empty space and subject.
In 1986, at the age of 19, Ge Feng decided to cycle back home from Xiamen, Cycling the length of China using a traditional bicycle that had no gears, a journey over the mountains that would take him a month. It was this experience that taught him, any task can be achieved if you take it one step at a time.
It was this that helped him to graduate, and not long after some of his works won awards in ‘All-China Genre Painting Exhibition’. These pieces were then put in the Chinese National Collection and exhibited in the Chinese National Arts and Crafts Museum in Beijing.
Moving to London at the age of 22 in 1989, due to hardly being able to speak a word of English, he realized the only way to earn any money was to sell his paintings, initially selling them at craft markets, but now having full solo exhibitions all over England
