Damir Simic - unbeatable prices
Born in Croatia in 1966, Damir Simic displayed a great deal of talent in art all through his life, but it wasn't until 2001 when his wife was able to convince him that he was a great artist that he decided to pursue a career in the discipline. Later on in the year he enrolled on an art course at a college in Zagreb, excelling beyond all expectations, Simic was accepted at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence in 2002. Following this he set his path, moving from being a businessman to become a full time professional artist.
Following his successes, Simic is viewed as a celebrity in Croatia, making frequent TV and
radio appearances and his original works and commissions often paying out in excess of
150,000 Euros and being distributed continentally.
Displaying amazing grasp of the human form and anatomy, Simic's pieces are examples of
art of the highest caliber. The human form being shown in all it's beauty, the use of tone and shade as well as strength of line and negative shapes all come together beautifully to form absolute masterpieces of definition, weight and posture.
