John Waterhouse - unbeatable prices
The things that inspire John Waterhouse to paint are simply watching people going about their daily lives. He is constantly jotting ideas down on paper as they come to him, so as not to forget them.
He is also inspired by walking fields and woodlands and finds the English countryside very romantic, just as a person does he believes that trees and fields also have their own characters.
Although mainly painting landscapes, Waterhouse also enjoys painting people, finding it challenging which is an attraction for him. He finds sitting on a park bench watching the world go by the best way to fill his head with new ideas, though the image needs to be etched on his mind, as unlike a landscape the subject may not stay still for as long as he would like.
