Alex Echo - unbeatable prices
Born in Colorado in the USA, Alex Echo currently lives, works and paints on a farm in West Sussex in the UK with his daughter. Echo states that much of his inspiration comes from his daughter and the surrounding nature and has currently been a professional artist for over 35 years. He also states that
he tries to be as eco-friendly as possible, even going so far as to save drops and splatters of spilled paint for use in future paintings.
Echo's works can be found today in a variety of collections of notable people including but not limied to Oprah Winfrey, President Jimmy Carter, Robert Downey Jr. and HSH Prince Rainier of Monaco. His work has also been sold into private collections and to corporations all over the world. Echo is also
responsible for donating £300,000 to various charity organizations and institutions via the sales of his works, including but not limited to The Prince's Trust, Nordoff Robbins, The Princess Grace Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, AMFAR, The Elton John Aids Trust and Aids Project Los Angeles.
Echo also sold ten of his paintings in the Wallace Collection in London, with all proceeds going towards rebuilding a school and dormitory in an area of earthquake-devastated south-western China. He currently is working on many projects including working with UNICEF, the United Nations and the World Food Program. Recently, one of Echo's works 'Classic With A Twist' has been incorporated into a fabric for fashion design by Sir Paul Smith for his 2011 Couture Women's Wear line which was showcased at London Fashion Week.
