Chris Bennett was born in the City of London in 1957, and during the 1980ís studied at the Slade School of fine art, working under Geoffrey Camp, Phil Sutton and Euan Uglow. Chris has held regular exhibitions at the Royal Academy Summer show, and with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in the Mall Galleries in his home city.

Bennett's current works can be seen in galleries throughout the UK.
One of Chris Bennetts finest commissions was a portrait of Sir William Hawthorne, which is now held in the collection of Churchill College, Cambridge.
