Laurence Llewlyn-Bowen is best known as an Interior designer on BBC’s Changing room’s, but is also
a very respected and talented artist and chinaware designer.

Laurence Llewlyn-Bowen was born in London 11th March 1965 and graduated from the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts in 1986. After graduating Laurence found employment with an industrial flooring company, and was responsible for some of their highest selling styles. After leaving there Laurence went on to work for an Interior Design company, but eventually started his own design consultancy company, taking on a large number of multi-million pound refurbishments.

In 1996 Laurence’s TV series ‘Changing Rooms’ aired for the first time, and the sucsess of this turned an already highly regarded man in his trade into a major household name.

In 2006 Laurence teamed up with Royal Worcester to design a range of Tableware and Mugs, a range that sold spectacularly, and then released a series of Limited Edition prints with Demontfort Fine Art. . After the closure of Royal Worcester in 2009. Laurence then teamed up with Arthur Price, based in Lichfield, Staffs who now produce his range of mugs.
