Born in New Zealand in 1975, Scott Caruthers was born to English parents who moved back to the UK two years later, so his New Zealand experience was short lived, first settling in London then moving to Norwich where he lived for thirty or so years.

Caruthers developed a passion in drawing and instead of going through the academic system went straight into work, keeping his drawing as a hobby. He tried a variety of jobs and eventually settled as a paint sprayer, keeping this job for a few years until eventually deciding to become a full-time artist and breaking away from his prior career. Caruthers now lives in Perth, Scotland with his wife and children.

Drawn and painted in a 'Sims' reminiscent style, Caruthers works are often focused around the miniature, shrinking down a variety of people, buildings and landmarks to a minute side. This parody on a white backing allows the viewer to distinguish the focal points with ease despite the lack of clear composition. No Artworks Exists
