Training at Vnetsianov Art College, Igor Shulman was encouraged to study the huge range of artists before him, from this his work began to take on characteristics of Degas and Modigliani, two artists he admired profoundly.

Shulman's works capture the female form as the chief subject matter, which it does so divinely. The light dispersement is altered with a strong contrast creating dynamic shading and clear indentments of shadows on muscle. With the light almost radiating off the focal point, Shulman paints powerful
pieces while capturing the female form in all it's beauty. No Artworks Exists
