Born in Guilford, Surry, Debra Stroud was creative even from a young age, spending copious amounts of time inventing toys and sending the designs to manufacturers. At 14 she began a photography course at the Guilford School of Art and excitedly told her parents. Sadly her father dissapproved of her passion and disheartened, she dropped out of the school.

Later on in life, Stroud moved on to study physiology at Sussex University and then on
further to study Philosophy in London. She continued to develop her passion further
however, as she travelled the world and eventually received an award for the Best Published Artist Of 2006 and the
Best Up And Coming Artist Of 2005 from the United Kingdom's Fine Art Trade Guild.
Her works are now distributed nationwide.

Stroud's works are a monument to nature and in particular, wind, water and the sky.
The colours used within her works are varied greatly, each one is adapted to set a mood or
time of day, combined with strong contrasting saturated colours, often right next to each
other. The paintings create a sense of dynamicy that is rarely seen, with the use of
light as a focal point to create a masterfully and beautifully composed finished piece. No Artworks Exists
