Born to Jewish refugees in England in 1941, Robert Lenkiewicz grew up in the town of Kilburn in London where his parents looked after a variety of elderly and mentally disturbed individuals. Lenkiewicz developed a
love for art and philosophy even at an early age, making a paint brush made from his own hair and producing a range of images from them when he was nine.

Lenkiewicz studied at Saint Martin's School of Art and then went on to study at the Royal Academy Schools, after teaching for a few years he settled in Plymouth. Working from there as a professional artist ever since.

Lenkiewicz images are most frequently highly detailed portraits of a variety of people, most likely at least a few are reminiscent of his parent's patients whom helped to sculpt his creative side upon growing up. Shadows are soft and reflections are subtle but existing, combined with a powerful stance and posture of the subject in each and every one,
giving the pieces a sense of life and dynamacy. No Artworks Exists
