Lighting the Way - Framed

During his recent US tour Mackenzie was inspired by the sights and sounds of the mystical bayou swamps he visited around New Orleans.

Once back in the studio his memories of the incredible clear water were so compelling, it was inevitable he would lay those memories down on paper in his own unique way. ‘Lighting The Way’ displays Mackenzie’s artistic genius, his ability to create mood and feeling with pastel on paper shines through.

In these moments the crystal-clear water reflects the clarity of the blue sky, stars already shining and the duffle coat figure. Lantern in hand, lights the way. He has everything he needs for his journey......the most important thing a heart, so big it compels us to remember that it’s all about love.
